Sherry Pedersen-Ajmani is an Organizational Development leader and consultant with a quick smile who has spent 20 years in the corporate world honing her craft. She works collaboratively with senior business and HR leaders, including the C-Suite of some of Canada’s largest corporations to build value-added HR solutions. An engaging consultant with clear energy for her work, her success is due largely to:
Understanding the voice of the customer first;
Clearly establishing what business problem we are trying to solve;
Producing high quality, clear and simple end products that support the objectives of the business; and
Establishing open and honest relationships with stakeholders.
These skills have allowed her to accomplish major initiatives like streamlining management costs by over $25M at a major retailer; inspiring new leadership behaviour in over 80% of salaried staff at a large manufacturer; and spearheading the HR work streams for an on-time launch of a major new line of digital business.
Sherry learned her disciplined approach to work through her six years of living, studying and working in Japan where she dedicated herself to learning the language and understanding the culture. She has an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Anthropology from one of Japan’s top universities and an MBA and the Advanced Program in HR Management from the Rotman School of Management.
A life-long learner, Sherry has achieved the ATC and ACC formal designations in executive coaching and has multiple other credentials in specialty HR areas such as CMP (Prosci ADKAR) and HCI’s Strategic Workforce Planning and Agile Performance Management.
